Update (August 4th): “The Spoils Of War” — Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 Leaked Before Airing

The original story continues from here —

A few days ago, we reported the massive HBO leak that contained many unreleased episodes of different TV shows, including Game of Thrones Season 7. Back then, only the unreleased episodes of TV shows Room 104 and Ballers were released. It also contained scripts of upcoming GOT episodes.

Now, in the latest development, according to media reports, the hackers have uploaded the episodes on a website named WinterLeak. As the website seemed to be offline, probably due to heavy load, I accessed the same via Wayback Machine. It has allowed the users to download the leaked HBO data, according to HackRead.

In the last week’s report, we mentioned that hackers said more is coming. This is proving the same. The leaked listed episodes are:

Supernatural Season 6 Episode 1

This episode had a lot of hackjob writing. A lot of coincidences and ultimately didn't hype up the rest of the season whatsoever, the twist at the end unfortunately did nothing to change that feeling either. While the book change of having Sansa in Winterfell during Season 5 initially felt forced, it endured largely thanks to the Theon-Sansa interactions. In this first episode, that partnership continued and it was one of its saving graces. However, this was cheapened when Brienne-Podrick (another interesting combo on screen), just HAPPENED to come across Theon-Sansa at the most desperate of times. Ridiculous writing there. No foreshadowing, no reasoning, and it completely undermined Brienne's decision last season where she chose to avenge Renly instead of keeping watch on Winterfall for any signs of Sansa. DORNE. Seriously, what the fuck are the showrunners doing with the Dorne plotline. An absolute abomination. The Sand Snakes and Ellaria Sand have been absolutely and completely character assassinated. Their dialogue is awful. Their plot is awful. Replacing the original Dornish-Targaryen conspiracy with this shit is absolutely criminal. Dorne is now in a very hostile, tense place without Doran, and certainly now have a more active role than they had in the books, This could lead to some interesting interactions with the crown in the grand scheme of things, however is that worth trading Doran Martell's epic 'Vengeance, justice, fire and blood' and his 'Viper in the grass' speeches which sent hype rocketing in A Feast For Crows? I think not. Cersei and Jaime. The show continues to write Jaime as madly in love with her and it's just fucked up, not even because of the incest either. A Storm of Swords and A Feast For Crows had Jaime undergo an amazing redemption arc in which he let go of Cersei, chased after Brienne, and attempt to keep his oath to Catelyn Stark. While the trailers did show him leading an army in the riverlands, I've lost all hope on him becoming the increasingly likable book Jaime. The Tyrion-Varys dynamic is well... Dynamic. While a little overplayed by now, I can't really critique it. I especially appreciated the 'baby eating' dialogue. Getting Tyrion to Dany faster was a great decision by the showrunners, but without Varys in King's Landing I'm very curious to see how the fate of Pycelle and Kevan Lannister plays out. For Dany, I usually hate her spitting out her meaningless titles with arrogance, but in the scene with Khal Moro? I kind of enjoyed it. She's been reduced almost to the point where she was in Season 1, just like the books, but actually a little more bearably and tolerable. Her story is kind of going backwards in both the books and the show now, but it's definitely important to her character, it's just a shame it's detrimental to the plot as a whole.I don't have much to say about Arya really, even in the books as soon as she left for Bravos I found her story losing my interest. Without her internal thoughts in the show, it's even less interesting. Show us more of the faceless men and the house of black and white and I'll be content. As for Castle Black... While I certainly would have preferred Davos undergoing the incredible White Harbour plot from A Dance with Dragons, him being at the wall is actually kind of intriguing. Impossible to dislike him, Davos becomes the new central character while Jon is off with the old gods, dead for now. The Melisandre twist at the end of this episode was also intriguing. I didn't really expect them to drop this on people, and it ended up in a very creepy scene which plays out just a little bit haunting. Ultimately, this episode had a lot of poor dialogue, butchery of the source material, and hackjob coincidences which really reduced the episode's quality. The episode's saving graces just happened to be the Davos, Theon-Sansa, and Tyrion-Varys scenes, along with that final creepy Melisandre scene. 2.5 no hype established. Onwards to better things next week?
