Arun Vijay starrer Tamil-language film ‘Thadam’ was released on March 1. The notorious piracy site Tamilrockers has leaked the film through torrents on the same day it was released. According to the trade trackers, the film had an average opening. As ‘Thadam’ became the victim of the Tamilrockers that regularly uploads copyrighted content illegally, the film was able to earn around Rs 87 lakh in the first week at the box-office.

Notably, the film is directed by Magizh Thirumeni is an action thriller that also stars Tanya Hope, Vidya Pradeep and Smruthi Pradeep in the pivotal roles. Arun essayed a dual role in the film received appreciation from fans and critics, and even the film received a positive response.
